Rachel specializes on cross-border M&As. Rachel has extensive experience in cross-border M&As, disposals, joint ventures and restructuring and general corporate and commercial matters. Rachel also advises listed companies in Hong Kong regularly as annual legal counsels for compliance in listing rules, and codes on takeovers and mergers.

Prior to joining our firm, Rachel has gained experiences as international M&A lawyers in Hong Kong, Beijing and Shanghai offices of “Magic Circle” and top tier international law firms, as well as General Counsel in Hong Kong of a group company listed on the HKEX.

Rachel is originally from mainland China and was educated in mainland China, UK and USA.

Rachel is native in Mandarin and proficient in English.

Rachel advises a variety of sectors including mining, renewables (solar, wind etc.), power, water, oil & gas, energy, telecommunications, infrastructure.

Rachel focuses on cross-border M&As and projects with Chinese elements, including transactions of listed companies in Hong Kong, Chinese outbound M&As of Chinese enterprises, and cross-border M&As of Chinese assets/shares of international clients.

Other than HK, mainland China, Rachel also advises clients on their investments worldwide including Africa, South East Asia, USA, Europe, Canada, Australia, CIS region and South America.
